Consulting
No-cost, one-on-one counseling on any aspect of operating, growing or launching a business including: developing growth strategies, preparing a business plan for financing, determining cash flow issues, defining & quantifying marketing initiatives, developing sales & marketing strategies and specialized counseling available for growth companies & manufacturers.

Research
SBTDC clients have access to research resources through Grand Valley State University's research department. A service provided through the MI-SBTDC Capitol Region office.

Annual Achievements: In 2012, the Capitol Region counselors assisted 442 clients with their small business endeavors and are ready to help you. Our 62 cutting edge seminars were attended by over 868 entrepreneurs and our business counselors assisted small business owners to create 130 new jobs. The Capitol Region Team helped 33 new business start-ups and helped secure over 13 million in commercial loans and other capital.
