The Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center at the Northwest Michigan Council of Governments in Traverse City is one of 12 offices statewide, providing services and support to the Michigan small business community in the areas of counsel, training and research.

Serving Antrim, Benzie, Charlevoix, Emmet, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, and Wexford counties. Satellite offices are located at Northwest Michigan Council of Governments and Traverse Area Chamber of Commerce in Traverse City, Manistee Alliance for Economic Success, and Northern Lakes Economic Alliance in Boyne City.

The Region 2 Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center is located in the Northwest Michigan Works! Building in Traverse City.
